secret shoppers: an interactive video as sales training.

Sales training is as old as the profession itself. But does an upselling training in-store still resonate with the 'modern salesperson'? Fortunately, OFED dares to take the step toward e-learning that caters to a diverse audience and can be implemented across various companies, each with its own identity.

“The older couple is playing a game, and they let the viewer know: a sly wink, an exaggerated reaction.”

the secret shoppers.

In this video e-learning, you are about to start your workday. Out of the corner of your eye, you see an older couple on a bench. It’s clear they’re having fun, but what about?

Then ‘grandma’ enters the store. How do you assist this demanding customer in finding a nice tablet? The video freezes, and you must respond to the customer’s questions to help her, and if successful, sell her a tablet case as well.

Later, ‘grandpa’ comes in. He turns out to be a complete technophobe. How do you assist him? It seems the older couple even enlists bystanders to test you. For instance, a man rushes in, clearly too hurried for a thorough sales conversation. How do you handle this situation?

interactive video.

By working with interactive video, you are fully immersed in scenarios that take place in a store familiar to the user from their own work context. Filmed from a POV (point of view) perspective, you can easily become quite nervous due to the challenging questions from the secret shoppers.

You are surprised by customers, just as you would be in real life. The touch of humor keeps you engaged and focused.

Could this concept work for your company? Get in touch and we will be happy to brainstorm about your e-learning needs.
